How to Use Sodium Percarbonate Powder?

1. Mixing Solutions

  • General cleaner: ½ cup per gallon of hot water (≈ 70–85 °C).

  • Heavy-duty: 1 cup per gallon for tough stains or outdoor cleaning.

2. Laundry Booster

  • Add 1–2 tablespoons to each load (hot or warm water). For heavy soils, use 2–4 tbsp .

  • Pre-soak stained/white items: 1 tbsp per 4 L hot water, for 30 min to overnight.

3. Surface Cleaning

  • Paste for grout/tiles: mix powder with minimal water, apply, let fizz ~15–30 min, scrub and rinse.

  • Spray cleaner: dissolve in hot water, pour into spray bottle, apply, wait ~15 min, wipe off.

4. Outdoor Deck/Patio

  • Apply solution via sprayer, let sit up to 30 min, scrub with broom or brush, then rinse.

  • For moss/algae: 50 g per L sprayed or dusted across 1 m², wait then rinse.

5. Drain Freshening

  • Pour 1 oz per 8 oz hot water, let sit overnight—helps deodorize and clear minor clogging

⚠️ Safety & Storage

  • Always use hot water (≥ 40–60 °C) to activate the powder—and dissolve it fully.

  • Use promptly: solution remains active ~5–6 hours; discard unused mix after that.

  • Store dry in an airtight container to prevent clumping and loss of effectiveness .

  • Protect yourself: wear gloves, eye protection, and (for spraying) a mask—avoid sealed containers as oxygen buildup can pressurize them.

  • Test first on delicate fabrics (silk, wool) or colored surfaces to ensure no damage or discoloration
